The Mama~Dukes are a N. Stradbroke Island duo that formed in 2006 to play acoustic and electric roots Blues, rock and alt country original music. The Mama~Dukes also perform as a full band when joined their larger 'electric' collective known as 'The MoTronics".

Dugald has played for many years in a variety of bands who have supported a variety of International and Australian acts including INXS, Australian Crawl, The Sunny Boys, The Radiators, Bo Diddley. In the 80s Dugald led a band called "Your Fanatics" who built a loyal following playing extensively up and down the East coast of Australia
